We need more cowbell information!
Ive been wanting to subscribe to Lexis Nexis for some time now but have been unable to afford it. Lexis Nexis is the world's largest collector of public records and offers numerous client based information gathering services and products. It is, in essence, the ultimate web based research tool.
So, since I still have plenty of Babalu eyes tshirts and Che? Still dead! tshirts available, I thought maybe I could sell enough tshirts to offset to costs of a Lexis Nexis subscription. (I have been contacted a few times by different web advertising services, but I really dont know if I feel comfortable advertising on the blog and prefer to keep it the way it is.)
If you would like to help out, please consider purchasing a Che or Babalu tshirt. Each shirt is only $12 and I pay for the shipping. I have Large and Xlarge available. You can use the PayPal button below or email me if you prefer some other method of payment.

How muche is Lexus Nexus? Maybe there could be an org in Miami or rich Cuban American uncle who could donate a year subscription to you. If I had the money I would give it to you.
Donations are always good and your use of Lexus Nexus would be for the good.
Bake sale? Car wash? Cantina?
mandingo,
The pricing for the Nexis varies, dependant on what you want access to and how many people will have access. I just got off the phone with one of their reps and my jaw is on the floor. Ballpark figure for subscription was somewhere around $300 per month. Way too much, considering it requires a one year subscription. There are other options and another rep willbe contacting me shortly.
Right now Im looking at the "pay as you go" option, where searches are paid for on an individual search basis.
Val,
Can't you "resolver" a subscription like a real Cuban would do?
Val is a real Cuban.
I would certainly consider buying a couple of t-shirts if I could get an explanation as to why I've been "de-linked." Was it something I said?
I would also beware of a transactional-based LEXIS account, as you can get charged a significant amount of money every time your browser reloads.
Mandingo, Val,
I sincerely apologize. I realized after I made that flippant comment that it was totally stupid and tried to prevent it from going through but it was too late. I am very sorry. Val, of course you are a real Cuban! I was just picturing someone in Cuba having the same problem and finding a way to get into the system without paying that ridiculous fee. But you don't need to do that, being a good citizen of this country. So please forgive me. But I have a question: you are so well informed as it is, what information do you think you will find there that you don't already have. Again, please forgive my ignorant comment.
