Remember when that son of a bitch cartoonist Pat Oliphant had a hateful depiction of Cuban-Americans published in the Washington Post?

Oliphant is a white supremacist pig, and this is vile and despicable. I'm sure I'll catch hell for this, but I wonder how many of my fellow Jews rightfully up in arms over this cartoon not only ignored his equally hateful depiction of Cuban-Americans, but voted for the man whose campaign workers proudly displayed portraits of Che, chief executioner for the Castro regime.
And God Said To Abraham, " I will bless those who bless you and I will Curse those Who Curse you and your seed"
Every dog has his day, Hell is full of people like Oliphant.
Ziva, the nicest interpretation is that most American Jews are politically stupid. Another interpretation is that they are leftists first. The latter explanation is particularly true for those Jews who consider themselves "Reformed".
Oliphant is despicable.
Well, this is one Jew who wrote Oliphant an angry letter.
Most Jews I know never saw the cartoon.
I wish I could say that if any Jew saw it, he would be disgusted by it. But I cannot make that assertion. Too many Jews, alas, are left wing first.
And I agree that Oliphant is despicable.
This vile old bastard mainly wants to get attention or notice any way he can get it (not unlike a certain "retired" Cuban dictator). He's being deliberately provocative, while making sure he stays well within the bounds of leftist ideology. In other words, he'll only risk offending certain targets that he considers safe. He would never, for instance, go after Obama, let alone the Islamofascists (which would be both un-PC and downright dangerous). As long as the New York Times and others of its ilk would have no problem with his shit, he feels he can afford to be a perverse asshole. The sad thing is, far too many Jews have given the NYT and comparable entities a pass for far too long. Apparently, they're more afraid of being unfashionable than being wrong.
Oliphant is messing with the WRONG crowd. History is littered with the carcasses of empires who tried to screw around with the Jews; they didn't take God's recorded words to Abraham seriously. Oliphant won't be an exception.
When I was a kid, I used to read Time magazine - back when you could still find news and long before it became totally red. And I remember Oliphant's cartoons; my observation is that he has become more rancid and disgusting with the years. He actually has no punch or message, he only agitates with his poison.
What a losing lifestyle.
This strikes me as the old-geezer cartoonist version of the Madonna ploy to stay "relevant." She poses wearing a crown of thorns or adopts yet another African pet, I mean kid; he provokes "controversy" by playing enfant terrible and making victims look like villains. It's a cheap, sordid trick, but as long as it has the desired effect, neither Madonna nor Oliphant gives a shit.
