New (old) blog alert

I've developed a tremendous fondness for Big Hollywood, Andrew Breitbart's blog and news site. Great pieces, some of them very funny, and a host of like-minded writers that are as entertaining as they are erudite. Actor Robert Davi, a fellow conservative, writes for the site. The other day he introduced a piece by a cousin who writes at his won blog called "Law of the Bad Premise: Unraveling the self satisfied, self congratulatory and twisted logic of all who have forgotten or never learned what makes America great." Folks, this guy is a great writer and a great thinker. Here are two pieces, one on the manufactured kerfuffle on "torture" where the liberals want to pretend they hold the moral high ground, and the other on Vietnam and the modern left. Superb.

  • It's a great blog. I read it daily...

  • Hi George,

Thanks for the comments about my Law of the Bad Premise blog--greatly appreciated. My wife escaped with her immediate family from Cuba in 1963 when she was a little girl. She still has a close uncle and aunt as well as cousins in Cuba she stays in close touch with. She sends every thing from food items to small appliances every month(through websites in Canada). Her family calls collect a few times a month from a neighbors phone. She has only visited once all these years but the family closeness remains (she prefers the legal way to travel so it was several years ago she visited). She is planning another visit soon. It is both heartwarming and sad to see how stunningly thankful and loving they are toward her for such simple things. When I see Hollywood morons like Spielberg and Moore, plus our what ever he is president, suck up to Castro, it is infuriating. The American left really is just stupid. I would respect them more if they were just gangsters. Lenin really nailed it with his "useful idiot" comment. Even with that phrase stamped in history, they still don't get it.
