They don't read most of the bills they pass on the Hill, and they definitely didn't read the largest government spending bill in the history of mankind, so why would Harry "I don't need to" Reid bother to read even one opinion of the SCOTUS nominee, Sonia Sotomayor?
I guess since she is a wise Latina and Harry "I don't need to" Reid is nothing more than a lowly white male, he is deferring to her judgment.
