Yoani has an eloquent, superbly written - as always - piece on the OAS lifting the Cuban ban posted right here. However, despite the language, I believe the premise to be wrong.
The castro regime has remained in power for fifty years by manipulation. And anyone familiar with how they operate must know that they orchestrated the whole OAS thing with their own agenda in mind.
The regime pulled the strings and the puppets danced.
And, needless to say, the puppets LOVE to dance to Castro's tune. It's been at or near the top of their charts for half a century, and counting.

However much Dan "Beria" Restrepo or Freddie "Goebbles" Balsera want to spin this, what transpired in San Pedro Sula, under the auspices of Mel Zelaya and Patricia Rodas, was an abomination orchestrated, as you denote, by the governments of Cuba and to a lesser extent Venezuela.
