PETA Falls Down on their Job!
It didn’t take long for the seagulls to swoop in and start feeding on the squid, so beachgoers ran to the rescue and tried frantically to save them by throwing them back in the water.
Here we have mean 'ole Californians forcibly depriving hungry seagulls of their natural nourishment --and NO WORD FROM PETA!
Given my own fondness for squid, just one of these suckers would keep me in Calamares en su Tinta, and Arroz con Calamares --for at least a week.
Too bad I'm 1600 miles away!
Not to mention fried calamari rings with a nice home made marinara sauce....
