The “post-partisan” president

President Obama promised to end the partisan bickering in this country, and by the results of the latest Rasmussen daily tracking poll, it appears he is well on his way to bridging that bitter divide.

The US is growing more and more united every day -- to oppose the President's radical government takeover of private industry and the never-before-seen-in-the-history-of-all-mankind generation of debt that will burden Americans for generations to come if it doesn't bankrupt the country first.

Welcome to "post-partisan" America.

  • actually there is bi-partisanship in Washington now....the Republicans and Conservative Dems both oppose the current socialization of health care being attempted by Obama and Pelosi.

Yes "some" Americans are awakening to the socialism that surrounds them but it may be too late. Obama may or may not be the last nail in the coffin, but the Bush's have done plenty of damage, more so than Bill Clinton who in the end was a better "republican" than either GHW or GW.
Hopefully Obama either flounders like Jimmy Carter or changes his stripes like BC, and if the former happens I can only hope that those calling themselves Republicans don't screw it up again.
