something young Cuban heroes...had been shouting into the U.S. State Dept. and CIA's ears

Well, there's your mistake. Diplomats and spooks won't listen to anyone, unless they think it is in their best interests.

"Why did it take the U.S. Sec. Of Defense 30 'freakin years to learn something known to half of Miami in Oct. of 1962?--something young Cuban heroes, risking their lives on infiltration missions, had been shouting into the U.S. State Dept. and CIA's ears since Sept. 8 1962!!!!??? (when the first missiles arrived) and for month's earlier (when the SAM sites started being set up.)"

Very simple. We were merely "those people" then, as we've remained ever since. No need to take inferior life forms very seriously, especially if they're "right wing."

That's pretty normal for a Democrat. Totally wasted intellect. Hell, Dean Rusk, JFK's SecState, supposedly told the CIA, Pentagon, and JFK that the canceled airstrikes at the Bay of Pigs were not necessary nor crucial for the success of the operation. That ignorant assessment by Rusk comes from someone who served as an Army Colonel in WWII! Can anybody say John Kerry? The Democrats are driven by their childish, cowardly political philosophy, and any education or experience they may have is subjugated to their twisted ideological believes. As so many people have said so many times, facts and common sense are a nuisance to liberals and the great majority of Democrats.
