If every Spanish carpetbagger who's seen fit to profit at the expense of the Cuban people went downright bankrupt, THAT would serve them right. Assholes.
honestly...it's ridiculous. these idiots that keep going back and giving Castro Inc. cash. Would anyone do business with Madoff if he openned up shop tomorrow? I guess there's a sucker born every minute.

No, the Spanish vultures are not idiots. They're getting some sort of gain, monetary or otherwise, from doing business in Cuba with Castro, Inc. They may not be getting as much gain as they had hoped or wanted, but trust me, they're getting something out of it. This sordid game has been going on far too long for them not to know the score. They're not idiots and they're not suckers, except bloodsuckers. What they really are is amoral bastards. May all their ill-gotten gains turn to salt and water, as the old saying goes. It's the least that they deserve.

I agree with Asombra, they know perfectly well what they're doing, but it serves them right.
However, those of us "in the know", can clearly see that Cuba would be able to pay off all its debts if only the evil, oppressive US embargo were lifted. Right?

Traveled in north and southern Spain some yrs ago, and I got the impression they STILL believe Cuba is a colony; una mentalidad bien atrasada. And they have utter contempt for Latin Americans - despite the numbers residing there. So this is good news.
