Show us the Jobs, President Obama
Gotta love Newt Gingrich!
Via email:
A recent report by the Federal Reserve predicts that we will reach 10% unemployment by the end of the year, and that it will likely take five years before we're creating net new jobs. And yet the President and leaders in Congress are trying to hold a vote before the August recess on a $1 trillion health care bill that will dramatically increase costs for small business and kill jobs. And this follows the House vote last month for a $1 trillion, job-killing National Energy Tax.
America needs more jobs, not higher taxes.
America cannot work if Americans are not working. So, we're launching a nationwide "Jobs Here, Jobs Now, Jobs First" campaign to convince Congress that its number one priority is to create jobs and to oppose job-killing taxes.
I can't say that I've been a huge Gingrich supporter, but with the exception of Marco Rubio, what other politician is giving it to us straight?

Here's one of my favorite commentators. Aside from him being funny, it just sounds sooo good to listen to this guy's rants:

Ziva,
Many politicians are giving it to us straight. The fact that we don't hear them doesn't mean they don't exist.
From Mike Pence on, the Club for Growth members of congress are good examples of those the msm ignores who are getting the truth out.
Gingrich's idea of lowering social security taxes to half is not the best idea. It still acknowledges keeping the social security system in place. His plan is never gonna happen. So if it's not going to happen, then go the whole way. Just recommend that we privatize social security altogether. If he wants to educate, then he should go the whole way. Medicare and Medicaid are going bankrupt. So why do we want to do more of such nonsense in Obamacare? If an employee is doing a terrible job at five dollars an hour, would you pay him ten dollars an hour in the hopes that he'll do better? If you pay a hundred dollars for a cd player and it messes up all the time, would paying half price for it entice you to buy another one? No, crap is crap.
Let's see Sarah Palin appear on talk shows, in campaigns for the good guys and wherever else she feels she can get our ideas out; she is always giving it to us straight.
Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Michele Bachmann, Pat Toomey, the list is quite long of those getting the real truth out.
Rush! Okay, he's not a politician, but he is our best talker. What a great resource he is. And what about The Heritage Foundation?
The truth is out there for the taking. It's up to us to get Americans to the sources.
If it looks like a witch, talks like a witch, acts like a witch, then...well, you do the math. Please, if anybody who's voted for this woman comes in contact with me, have the kindness not to mention it. Ever.
Which woman?
How's this for straight talk?
Jonah Goldberg has a one liner in NR online today that says everything you need to know. Anyone who doesn't understand it at once is a lost cause.
"Health care cannot be a right because our rights cannot come from the government."
Could it be said better?
I propose that this should be the argument in any run for office of any politician on the straight talk express.
I further propose that we follow Obama's suggestion and give this country back to its rightful owners, those who understand what Jonah means. The rest are usurpers.
Honey I agree there are good politicians out there, including the ones you mention. But frankly,IMO none of them has what it takes to lead at the national level. They just do not inspire me in the compelling way that Rubio and Gingrich do. If we are going to defeat the Obama machine, we need an exceptional leader.
Honey, I meant the witch in the photo--Pelosi, obviously.
Sorry, Asombra. I got frightened and thought you meant Palin. Whew!
And, by the way, don't count Palin out yet.
