  • asombra: It’s painful to see this kind of ambivalence, not to say equivocation, from a Cuban this late in the game. Not a good sign.

Those self-sacrificing Communists

Entrance to estate owned by Sandinista minister

Entrance to estate owned by Sandinista minister

Upon entering Havana, Che Guevara moved into probably the most luxurious mansion in Cuba.

American ex-con and bigamist, William Morgan, and his chum, bartender Eloy Gutierrez Menoyo, also made out splendidly with stolen property--as did most "revolutionaries".

Nicaragua's Sandinistas, as we all know, were among the Castroites most eager pupils. ...seems they learned well. Seems they're not doing too bad either. (if you don't speak Spanish, please check out the video)

Thank goodness they got rid of that shamelessly opulent swine, Somoza!

Unreal

  • Mr. Mojito

Silly Humberto, that mansion is needed to host all of the huddled masses who defend the revolution. Like the pool boy, and the guajiro who trims the hedges.
