African National Congress (Mandela’s Terrorist Group); Hypocrisy is thy name!
South Afrcan president, Jacob Zuma, was asked about his party's (the African National Congress) support for such as Fidel Castro:
"We have no time to be looking into the internal affairs of other countries," responded the hypocritical swine.
Whoops!!...but...but...but, some might recall that back in the 60's, 70's, 80's the ANC's entire stock-in-trade (in-between planting bombs to murder civilians) was DEMANDING that the rest of the world--not only look--but intervene forcefully in the internal affairs of the South African gov.
Unreal.
BTW, according to UN figures, the life expectancy for South Africa's blacks was higher during the apartheid regime than today...yet I search the MSM, books, documentaries, NPR, etc. etc. in utter, utter, utter vain for statements such as: "True, South Africa's blacks could not vote in free elections, but by golly that apartheid regime sure achieved great gains in healthcare!"

Humberto, like they say in India, don't mess with sacred cows.
I messed with this sacred cow often, to no avail.
I didn't like him when he chose to use the PLO for his advantages and at the same time castigate Israel. The usual suspects. I always thought this guy was overrated and his goofy wife probably wasn't as far afield from him as portrayed.
The problem with sacred cows, Honey, is that even if all they do is shit all over the place, they're still, you know, sacred. Mandela and his crowd are practically untouchable, regardless of any evidence. There's no worse blindness than refusing to see.
The ANC were, are and continue to be thugs and terrorists, even worse than the apartheid officials!!!
Not only did blacks have a higher life expectancy, the economy was betters, blacks immigrated from other countries to work in South Africa, they did not have the highest HIV and rape rate in Africa, as they do now...
Zuma is a vile man and in terms of the sacred cows, I DO NOT ADMIRE NELSON MANDELA
The ANC were Commies from the start.
Mandela has always been a Commie.
Speaking of "Sacred Cows" ... try pointing out MLK Jr.'s Communist links.
Mr. Mojito,
It is true about King. But the difference is he did some good things and it is the symbol of the good he did that outlives his potential for harm to the country. That assassin did his reputation a good deed. Had he lived, he might have proved to be an anti American rebel.
But as Buckley used to like to point out, sometimes the symbol is more important than the reality. And that's why Buckley was not against honoring him after he was killed.
Another irony about South Africa is that the native South African blacks are now persecuting, beating, setting on fire and killing immigrant blacks who come to South Africa to find work! It's outrageous! If you go to Youtube, you can see news coverage about this. Of course, that news doesn't reach us here, because as Asombra said, it's the sacred cow thing. Here's a link:

Mandela's sacred cow status reminds me, in some respects, of the slavery issue. It is virtually never dwelt upon that the white slave traders bought their "merchandise" in Africa from BLACK sellers. Those sold were typically prisoners taken as a result of tribal warfare, and they may well have been killed or enslaved by their captors if they had not been sold. To the black sellers, those sold were every bit as much objects or chattel as they were to the white buyers. So does anybody ever hold the black "salesmen" accountable in any way? Uh, no. Gee, I wonder why?
Asombra : "It is virtually never dwelt upon that the white slave traders bought their "merchandise" in Africa from BLACK sellers." You just gave me a HUGE history lesson. I never learned that in school. It was never even brought up in the curriculim.
Indeed, Colena. Also inform your professors how --well after slavery was abolished by European powers--it thrived in black Africa, amongst black Africans.
Colena, it's called selective history and selective morality. In other words, you use what suits your purpose or agenda, and the rest is irrelevant.
Asombra,
Kind of sounds like some of the visitors to this website who call us all sorts of names.
