I'm old enough to remember when Castro took over. Old enough to remember the Bay of Pigs *betrayal* by an American President. Old enough to remember when (& how) Cuban refugees saved Miami economically (glorious evidence in favor of open immigration). And old enough to remember--and still absolutely enraged about--the child abuse metted on Elian by an American gangster in DC.

Honduras removes a power lusting Chavez wannabe & is condemned by the USA. Castro & his thugs imprison & murder innocent Cubans & an American President offers cordial wishes.

DESPICABLE.

Cuba, si. Castro (and his henchmen), NO!

PS. No, I'm not Hispanic, whatever that is. I'm as Western centric as they come.

Too bad the msm doesn't consider this anniversary's significance as important news.
If Clinton wants to redeem himself, you are so right. Let him go free these innocent people.

Hey, Clinton knows a good opportunity when he sees one. It doesn't hurt these are young, nice-looking Asian chicks, either. Of course, it doesn't exactly make Hillary look too swift. And Jimmy Carter...well, poor Jimmy must be green with envy. He would KILL for this kind of media exposure.

Why doesn't Clinton go to Cuba and free them?
When the Brothers to the Rescue planes were blown out of the sky over the Florida straits his admimstration did nothing, but later create the wet foot dry foot policy. Weren't they American too? They also did nothing to help the uprising succeed either. He later brokered a deal with Fidel to return Elian for Cuban prisoners in the U.S.
