“Let them deny us visas–we will NEVER LET ZELAYA RETURN” says Honduran Pres. Micheletti

"We see ourselves as David against Goliath. But we're a brave and honorable people, a democracy, we're defending our democratic constitution--so we will never let Zelaya return."

Those were the words of Honduras' de-jure President Michelletti last month during an on-camera interview with your humble servant here.

(Note how the MSM and its pet "Latin America experts" make it a point to always sneeringly refer to President Micheletti as de-facto Pres. A hundred dollarinies for the person who finds me "de-facto" in front of Fidel or Raul...go ahead!..take all the time you need!)

The camera shows your humble servant about 3/4 of the way through, in a black suit (no camo?) on the de-jure President's right.

Unreal.

Estos catrachos si tienen huevos! Bravo Michelletti!

I wonder if he has Reagan as his inspiration.

I confess that I'd pretty much given up on "Latins" as essentially hopeless. There was Uribe and Colombia, but even Uribe is somewhat spotty, certainly when it comes to dealing with Cuba. Honduras has surprised me in a very good way, and I truly hope and wish the Hondurans will prevail against the absolutely nauseating, beyond shameful hypocrisy and bad faith of practically the whole world, the US included. This situation goes to show, among other things, that at least the world's abysmal record on Cuba is "nothing personal." They'd screw over ANYBODY who bucks ideological fashion, especially if they think they can get away with it. I'm very proud of the Honduran people just now; God bless them.

Humberto, if the Miami Herald, repeat, the MIAMI Herald, follows the MSM fashion (imagine that) in how it does (and does not) refer to the Castros, well, that pretty much says it all, doesn't it? But then again, being suitably fashionable trumps everything, doesn't it? Just ask Sean Penn.
