The limp
There is an old Irish blessing that says “May those who love us, love us; and those who don't love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He doesn't turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we'll know them by their limping.”
One of the most annoying things that afflicts liberals is their unadulterated arrogance. Ironically, that affliction is also what makes them so easy to spot. That arrogance is their limp.
I submit for your consideration a liberal with a serious, serious limp.
Eric Massa (D-NY) does not care what his constituents want, he is smarter than they are. So smart, in fact, he thinks no one in his district is going to see this video.
See, he says he will vote for something his district doesn't want if he thinks it's going to help them.
So the question is does he really think that? If he does, he is too stupid to be a congressman.

Oh, this guy inspires some serious confidence. And by the way, I don't think it's possible to be too stupid for Congress. It's certainly not possible to be too much of an SOB for Congress; that's been proven ad nauseam.
It is sometimes an act of bravery for a congressman to say he has to vote for something even if it is unpopular, even if it goes against his constituents' wishes. Just consider a vote for funding for the Iraq war if it is unpopular with voters. That might be considered an act of bravery. A congressman might be willing to lose his job but feel he has to protect America.
But this guy is saying he will vote for a bill that is decidedly unpopular with his voters as long as he thinks it will help them.
As I said above, if he really thinks this plan will help the American people, then he is too stupid to be a congressman.
In other words, Rep. Massa is saying, "fuck you, I know better than you and I don't give a shit about your opinion even though you put me in Congress."
