Letter format and suggestion to defend the constitution

In case you've been putting off sending those letters to the White House and your elected representatives in defense of the Constitution, my fellow Californian, the esteemed Hugo Byrne makes it easy for us.

Dear friends:

Pertaining your opposition to the power grab by Washington and the progressive reduction of our God given rights, this is a letter format you may want to use conveying your messages to the White House, both senators Boxer and Feinstein, and the congressman or congresswoman representing your district.  Please be aware that it is important to use regular mail rather than just a message through E-mail so that your hand written signature appears on the letter.

Remember that you need to know the postal address of the congressman of your district.   I cannot get that for you, but you can get it from the Net. That letter to your congressman is the most important one since the whole House of Representatives face next years election.

The addresses of the White House, Feinstein and Boxer are:

President Barak Hussein Obama

White House

Washington D.C.

Senator Barbara Boxer

112 Hart Senate Office Building

Washington DC 20510

Senator Dianne Feinstein

331 Hart Senate Office Building

Washington DC 20510
Thank you all.  God save America and viva Cuba libre

Hugo J. Byrne

Dear _____________:

As a citizen of the United States I write this letter conveying to you my profound concern about the future of our Nation under the present administration.

I strongly believe that the appointment of up to 37 advisors to the president (also known as “czars”) constitutes what Virginia Senator Robert Byrd described as "the rapid and easy accumulation of power by White House staff that can threaten the constitutional system of checks and balances". Senator Byrd expressed this opinion in a letter he sent to the White House dated February 23, 2009. This concentration of power is also observed in the bill 1388, known as GIVE. I am also very disturbed by the support the White House is currently giving to the organization called ACORN. The handling of the emails asking support for the healthcare legislation, addresses being solicited by the White House, is also most alarming.

I strongly oppose the proposed health care reform legislation, which amounts to the federal government usurpation of 16 % of our GDP. This legislation, in all its forms and variations, are just a clear effort to place another large segment of our economy in the hands of the state. It has little to do with the welfare of the citizens of the Unites States. Similar measures are failing miserably in Canada and elsewhere.

In addition, I oppose the legislation called "cap and trade" that the Senate will consider shortly. The measures proposed in it represent further limitations on the individual entrepreneurship of the citizens of this country and is contrary to the spirit of the “pursuit of happiness"...

I believe that the United States government under the present administration has deviated dramatically from the principles outlined in the Declaration of Independence and is leaving behind gradually the liberties described in the Bill of Rights of our Constitution

As it has been said many times…”I want my country back”.

Sincerely,

So get to it folks, let's take back our country! The 2010 election cycle has begun!
