Kudos, Mr. Cardona!

Good friend Joe Cardona's latest documentary - Suitcase Full of Hope:The Story of the Cuban Freedom Flights - has just been nominated for an Emmy for best documentary.

I think what clinched it was my Dad telling my Mom to speak to the camera. Or maybe it was my Dad's son, who did his darndest to make everyone cry.

Seriously tho, Joe, a much deserved honor, my friend. Thank you for all the hard work, dedication, honesty and love you have put into not only Suitcase, but it's predecessors as well.

I aint lying when I tell you your work - like the Cafe Con Leches and Celia and Suitcase and all the others - brought a lot of Cuba back into our hearts and kept her fires going within.

I love you, my brother. You are one of Cuba's sons who will never be forgotten.

    Val,

Please help me out if you can. I want to purchase 6 DVD's that Joe Cardona has produced so that I can watch them with my very American 15 year old and 18 year old. They do not understand what we feel in our hearts! I have searched the internet up and down and cannot find where to purchase them. Even WPBT does't have them listed for sale. Do you know who sells them? Maybe a small mom and pop video store in Miami?

    Thanks in advance.
    Jose Dominguez
