We must raise our consciousness and stop cursing. We should see anyone like Sean Penn or Danny Glover as an "idiot savant." Minus the savant part.
Douglas, of course, is a has-been looking for attention and "relevance." Penn is just a sadly deluded little asshole who got lucky and may be contemplating a political career down the road.

There's nothing wrong with Hollywood types that proper attention, or rather lack thereof, wouldn't cure. As long as they keep being taken FAR more seriously than they even remotely deserve, the BS will continue unabated. Even if "the public" is hopeless in that regard, the media should not be, but of course the media wants the public's money, any way it can get it, and feeding the public celebrity rubbish happens to be quite profitable.
These people have no shame. It's bad enough that they sympathize with the regime but it adds insult to injury when they travel to Cuba and parade themselves wearing t-shirts and slogans. They go down there and flaunt their freedom (AMERICAN freedom) in front of the miserable prisoners of that island. By the way, after watching the link that shows Penn being escorted through Nueva Gerona I had to laugh at his dumb face as his "guide" rambled through some revolutionary bullshit in a barely intelligible speech. Does he have any clue that he is being guided around by a cretin that is borderline "analfabeto"??? Infuriating.
