OK NOW it’s getting SERIOUS!

pelayored

"A recently published administration document outlines a structure that could result in closures of sport fishing in salt and freshwater areas across America." (emphasis by Bambi-murdering poster)

I'm guessing there's an element of sensationalism in this report--but STILL!!!

  • I wouldn't put it past them. Sports fishing does more to protect the fishing stocks than say commercial fishing. We always adhere to the bag limits and most of the tourny's are catch and release. They're going after the wrong crowd; but I figure they'll go after the fishermen then the hunters.

Oh wait, they already are... check out this House Bill

  • Mr. Mojito

First they came for the salt water fishers, and I said nothing because I didn't fish ...

then they came for the hunters, and I said nothing because I didn't hunt ...

    Then they came for me.

  • Dammit, Mike! You're determined to deny me sleep!

I'd heard of that Bill and chose to ignore the message..."No Can't be!..they'll never get away with THIS?!"

We'll ..Now I'm not so sure...

My guess is, they'll go after hunters first (easier target, fewer of us and we enjoy less public approval) THEN us fishermen.

    Unreal

Wouldn't any efforts to permanently ban hunting and fishing be part of Regulatory Tsar Cass Sunstein's program to end hunting and fishing and allow animals 'to retain human lawyers and sue humans for abuse'?

Wouldn't these efforts nicely augement any plans afoot to create famine among humans and as well spread disease among them, from sick overpopulated animal herds?

These people aren't incompetent. Not at all. They know precisely what they're doing.
