And of course, since it's a Democrat in office, this sort of thing is somehow perfectly reasonable and legitimate. The same exact thing would, needless to say, be scandalously corrupt if the president was a Republican.
Remind me. Did Bush reward big donors in this way? Did he use taxpayer money to give parties or perks for big donors?
Honey Bush rewarded his Pioneers with perks. It's in the article
"George W. Bush invited 'Pioneers' to Camp David or his Texas ranch."
But this was supposed to be different -- supposed to be "change."

Well, if Bush bestowed his "favors" outside the White House, at least that's something. Just as, if Clinton had only carried on with Monica in some motel or other, it wouldn't have been quite as bad.
