The Limbaugh lynching
In my almost two decades of listening to Rush Limbaugh I can say with certainty that I have never heard him make a racist statement. Unlike liberal/progressives -- a group steeped in hatred, bigotry and anti-Semitism, whose political specialty is division and Balkanization -- Rush's main message is always a positive one, emphasizing American exceptionalism, capitalism, liberty and the greatness within all of us, regardless of race or creed, to achieve what we want in the greatest counrty on Earth. What has been done to him has been done to all conservatives.
I'll let Lloyd Marcus -- who just happens to be Black -- at American Thinker explain:
In the movie Pale Rider, a powerful bully using his many thug enforcers was attempting to steal land owned by humble prospectors. When Clint Eastwood, the pale rider came to town, he gave the prospectors courage to fight for their land. But Eastwood warned them, "Some of you are going to die". And there lies the rub, to live in tyranny or risk all fighting for freedom.
Folks, we face a similar dilemma in America today. The Left killed Rush's dream of owning an NFL team. A liberal media lynch mob dragged Rush's dream out into the public square and hung it by the neck until it was dead while the likes of Sharpton and Jackson laughed and cheered celebrating their victory.
Like the prospectors in the movie, if we do not fight for our freedom, we deserve to continue suffering under the tyrannous rule of political correctness. The Left keep beatin' up patriots on our side and getting away with it; Clarence Thomas, Sarah Palin, Carrie Prejean and many others. Our latest causality is Rush Limbaugh. I say, "Enough!"
We Conservatives realize this attack on Limbaugh is really an attack on us all. It is time we draw a line in the sand. We must not "go gentle into that good night". Our side has brilliant minds and logical thinkers. By nature, we Conservatives do the right thing even when it is difficult, rather than making cowardly liberal choices based on feelings. It's called having a back bone and true compassion.

What is such BS, is that all these quotes are attributed to him which he never said. They apparently originated from Wikipedia and the news organizations are reporting these quotes as fact.
Like they did by saying that Palin's grandchild came from Mars.
It's unAmerican.
"liberal/progressives -- a group steeped in hatred, bigotry and anti-Semitism, whose political specialty is division and Balkanization"
This line is hilarious and speaks for itself.
I wouldn't put Carrie Prejean in the same group as Rush Limbaugh, he is known for his mind - her, for her uh perky minds.
Eddy,
I dont know about the line being hilarious, but it certainly is right on the mark, and yes, it certainly does speak for itself.
of course, if you could absolutely prove that Rush Limbaugh is a racist - while citing a true, unbiased and authentic source - I might give you the benefit of the doubt.
Otherwise, tragate el purgante.
Eddy, you're an unabashed, certifiable cretin, and a liberal asswipe of the first order.
George,
You forgot hypocrite, unless he truly believes what he implied, in which case "fucking dumbass" is more apropos.
Liberal asswipe just about covers all if it.
Are you guys done yet? Being conservatives whose political specialty is harmony and moderation must be difficult these days.
Anyway, I wasn't commenting on whether or not Rush is a racist, because it doesn't matter--it was a conservative group of investors that made the private, financial decision to remove him from their group and not an imaginary "liberal media lynch mob," and to criticize them for doing so is to challenge freedom of association as well as the effectiveness of free markets, anyway.
Eddy,
Dont be a wanker. It was a group who had its investment jeorpardized after a liberal LYING hypocritical lynch mob threatened same. And led by the likes of Al "RACIST!" Sharpton and Jesse "Hyme Town" Jackson among others.
A lynch mob, mind you, that for the most part, has no real problem with a black player that murdered dogs for fun and goofs playing for the exact same football league.
Again, I challenged you to provide proof of Rush's racism, as every other source sciting same has been challenged, yet not one, not even the very progressive, very liberal, Soros funded Media Matters who has paid flunkies listening to rush's every word just to take him down, has been able to offer it up.
So, you know what? Fuck Jackson. Fuck Sharpton. Fuck Soros and fuck you for instigating and promoting and supporting a fucking lie to stifle someone else's opinion and well being.
I truly hope Rush sues the living fuck out of the NFL, MSNBC, Sharpton, Jackson and every single liberal fucking fuck out there that so gleefully and hypocritically slandered him for their own fucking pathetic agendas.
Anything else?
Val, I see you like my word, huh? One of the best slangs from the UK....
That Rush was going to be a controversial choice goes without saying and perhaps the group should have thought about it before they invited but a) he had every right to be a part of that group and b) he was villified for perceptions about him as opposed to facts about him.
I'm with Val (funny, I know) I hope that Rush sues the pants off those that ruined his rep. Rush talks for a living practically every single day of the week and if you have to create, invent and conjure malicious quotes that pretty much tells you that the man has not said anything that would tar him as racist.
Rush made one comment once, that was not racist but in fact unnecessary and idiotic - it was the McNabb thing. Normally leftists inject race into a conversation and that time he did. I know I cringed the moment he said it because I knew they would crucify him and I really, really enjoyed having him on Sunday mornings. Nonetheless he did not bash a black qb - he bashed the media. Oh well...here's to Rush's lawyers, happy hunting.
The NFL players union also came out strong against Rush.
I can just see it now the hundreds of millionairre black players screaming racism if Rush was allowed to buy the team. Ah well, Rush should buy a baseball team instead.
If there's a cause of action in any of this, I hope he sues the #%$&!* off the race pimps -- he's got enough money to buy the team himself probably, and wouldn't it be nice if he did that [provided it's a good investment]. Obscene profits time, as he calls it.
Rush is so racist he often uses Walter Williams to sit in for him.
Actually, I didn't mind what Rush said about McNabb. It wasn't incorrect. And it certainly was not racist. All he said was that the press is so anxious for a black to be successful that they like to promote McNabb. What's wrong with that; why is that racist? Anyway, McNabb is such fun as a quarterback. Did anyone see the first two plays of the last game?
Eddie above generally is a pain. But I don't think he was taking a stand about Rush and the ouster. I think his point was that when we assert that liberals are steeped in hatred and anti semitism and specialize in divisiveness, we are being ridiculous. The only reason Eddy feels that way is that, like all apologists for the left, he refuses to face the truth about the rhetoric the left relies on.
Liberals in congress are so unappealing these days.
There is a perfect article on nationalreview.com by Stephen Spruiell about Rush and race. It says it all.
Oh, yes, and Go Phillies!
