Omnipotent Tourism

Americans and other Omnipotent Tourists from around the globe: Travel to Cuba now, before the "Free Spirited" Cuban's cages are opened and the island is no longer a quaint little zoo.

Yes, travelers! Go to Cuba now before things change and the natives are no longer second class citizens! Before those pesky brown people on the island demand to be treated equally! Go now before slavery and indentured servitude are a thing of the past in Cuba.

Who knows, you might get to witness the beating of a rogue Cuban - you know, a free spirited Cuban with an actual free spirit - or two.

Communist oppression is soooo chic. We should do it here in America, but until then we can visit Cuba. Ack!

As much as I detest the hypocritical, insensitive, willfully blind foreign tourists to Cuba, I cannot forget those Cubans who have left the island but continue to go there for trivial and/or pleasure-seeking reasons as if it were just another Caribbean vacation destination. Sadly, if not tragically, there's plenty of shit to go around.

you took my words! that is what i always tell people that travel to cuba - they see Cubans there as part of the attraction. They aren't "attractions" they are people being subjected to an oppressive regime that deprives them of their rights and substinence - it's disgraceful.
