Since leftist guanajos have a serious allergy to logic that borders on anaphylactic shock whenever they are exposed to it, I am surprised to see so many of them seemingly embracing it when analyzing the Ft. Hood shooting culprit, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan. Logic, the guanajos tell us, indicates that the actual shooting and all of the Army psychiatrist's actions leading up to the shooting shows the actions not of a terrorist, but of a mentally deranged individual.

Applying logic just to this one event, one can reasonably say that a person who commits such a heinous act is indeed not well in the head. The problem the guanajos have is that logic is universal--you cannot apply it selectively when it is convenient to do so and ignore it when it gets in the way of your argument. If the left wants to use logic to prove Hasan was nothing more than a crazy guy with a gun and not a terrorist, then we have to apply that same logic to everyone who commits a heinous act.

Using their logic, one has to ask what sane person with a firm grip on reality would find it acceptable to crash airliners into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon? What sane person would find it a reasonable action to strap a bomb to their chest and blow themselves up in a crowded area? What sane person would consider it a viable option to fill a truck up with explosives and crash it into a building?

If we use the same logic the left wants us to apply to Maj. Hasan to analyze the terrorist acts mentioned above, then all of the terrorism committed around the world ceases to be terrorism and transforms itself into "man-caused disasters." 9/11 would no longer be interpreted as a terrorist attack against the United States but a horrible act perpetrated by 19 mentally unstable individuals and their equally deranged handlers who all had issues in their life and were simply "acting out" their desperation.

Contrary to what the left would like to believe, insanity and terrorism are not mutually exclusive. In fact, I would go further and say that they are mutually inclusive; you cannot commit such abhorrent acts against humanity without having a couple of screws loose to begin with.

My advice to the leftist guanajos out there is to stick to your fantastical view of the world. Logic is a powerful force that should not be trifled with by those who have little or no experience dealing with it. If those of us who live in the real world ever need any help with unicorns, or we need a recipe for cotton candy clouds, we will be sure to call you.
