Tell them to vote no on the healthcare bill

This could be the most important phone call, email, or fax that you have ever sent. Do not let this vote take place without your input. Tell your representative to vote no on the healthcare Bill.  To make it easy for us, here is a model letter to use,, courtesy of our friend Hugo Byrne:

November 4. 2009
Representative XXXXX
House of Representatives
Washington D.C.

Dear Congressman/Congresswoman:

Probably within the next 48 to 72 hours you will be asked to vote on the Healthcare bill proposed by the Democratic leadership in the House of Representatives.

I regard said bill as a take over by the Federal Government of up to 18 % of the United States economy. This take over means the federal government will be controlling many aspects of the lives of all citizens. This bill would inevitably be meddling with the time-honored patient-doctor relations and their constitutional choice of taking personal vital health-care decisions.

As my representative I urge your vote against this usurpation of the health care system of the United States, and in so doing keep the US Government actions within the boundaries well defined by our Constitution.

Sincerely,
Your name &
Address
