Unfortunately, another "primero de Enero" para los hijos de la gran P&*@ en Cuba. Let's hope 2010 will bring Cubans the Freedom they deserve.

I'll be celebrating full blast next year when we win back congress!

    Happy New Year!

    To my Babalu friends,

Happy New Year. True "Hope" for "Change" in 2010! Together we can do it. Take back this country.

And I think I understand the Cuban toast for the New Year is, "¡El año próximo en Cuba!"

"Hope" in 2010 for "Change" in Cuba also.

God bless, my very dear friends!

That’s right, I’ll be truly celebrating next year when we take back our country from Pelosi, Reid, Soros, the MSM and all the lefties bent on destroying America but the reason I’m going to celebrate the most is when we have a Congress and Senate that shackles this anti-American bullshit artist, sorry-ass excuse of a President we have in office today with a straight jacket of checks and balances to keep him in control until he’s out of office in 2012.

Happy New Year everyone, and good riddance to 2009.

  • raylove54

Feliz y prospero new year, 2009 was a very strange year, what new surprises can 2010 bring, stay tuned same channel and one more thing "Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive."

  • FreedomForCuba

    You're right Ray,

I wonder what surprises 2010 will bring us as we live in very unstable times and anything can happen.

  • [...] with my buddy Val Prieto at Babalu Blog, I just couldn’t wait for 2009 to end. But all-in-all it’s been a good year for This [...]

  • ivandurakov

2009 offered us all a lot of challenges to our liberty and prosperity that aren't going to magically disappear because of a random day on an arbitrary solar calendar. However, the efforts everyone here put into Babalú are helping answer these challenges, and the US and Cuba are both better places for it. The struggle to hold the line and then eradicate dangerous enemies is like an Ant Farm -- victory comes one sand grain at a time.

Don't let the bastards get you down, and keep fighting the good fight! We have to see this one through to the end.

  • Happy New Year to all the Babalú family, and ditto Val. Let´s have real change in 2010, as in a for ever after end to the hateful cult of oppression and death that is Communism.
