		<description>Yeah, that whole &quot;occupation&quot; thing was started by our wonderful friends in France.  Haiti is, as it&#039;s always been, a complete mess.  Being that there is no infrastructure, there is no systematic way of getting the drastically needed supplies in to the suffering people.  Some of these countries that are generously sending supplies are doing so only halfway.  They simply drop ship and take off.  Naturally it&#039;s almost impossible for the planes to land, so perhaps that is what&#039;s causing all these pallets to lay untouched on the ground for days. Whatever the case, it has been the US who has stayed around and fully committed to bring some organization into the chaos.  And this is part of what&#039;s called &#039;occupation&#039;!
But that&#039;s the way it goes, the US for all its generosity and collective good will, will always be criticized by these European nations.  Dammed if we do and dammed if we don&#039;t.</description>
