Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada described in private then-Sen. Barack Obama as "light skinned" and "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one." Obama is the nation's first African-American president.
To his credit, Reid issued an apology.
When he was caught, of course.
Of course this shit would have been reported the moment a Repub had said it; not a year after the election. Comes out long enough after the last election and long enough before the next election so reid can do damage control. Doesn't matter though, this guy is toast. Just waiting for the Fauxbama machine to throw him under the bus.
