Charlie won't jump to the Dems. The bigger danger is a run as an Independent. As for his dirty tactics - I doubt that they will be enough for him to win but he can do a ton of damage with his sizable warchest. He has more than 3x as much money on hand as Marco. That is an overwhelming advantage - which is why I am always harping on the money.

this is just the beginning. Crist has no princples his one and only belief is that he should win every race he enters. He is going to get nasty and dirty - and he has the hired goons to do it. They don't care if they destroy the party and the state as long as they have a chance of winning. Charlie knows that if he loses this that he is done - so prepare for the death match.

I agreed, but remember he's not a scientist and this was almost two years ago before climategate and before the wheels really started to fall off the climate "crisis". But this really begs the question, where's Charlie Crist on cap and trade? Is he attacking Rubio because he despises the idea? Hardly. Remember he endorsed John McCain for President and McCain is biggest cap and trader among the GOP. So this is just political dirty tricks. Won't work though.

That is actually the least convincing I've heard from Rubio. I was hoping he'd take the opportunity to do the right thing and call global warming the sham that it is. That it is merely a governmental power play. I know it's politically dangerous to say but he hasn't seemed shy in saying the right things. Though I am very pleased with this: "The future of energy, the way we’re going to clean up our environment, the way we’re going to lower carbon emissions, is not through government mandates, it’s through the American innovator. Americans have always proven that if you can make money doing something, we do it a lot and we do it well, and I believe the same will be true for energy."

By the way, the Herald regularly attacks Marco Rubio whether thorough the use of cartoons, or articles and yet you rarely see an attack on Charlie.

Amazing! The good thing is that we know the Herald's agenda against us.
