Cangrejero de Caibarién, this past Saturday New Orleans just elected Mitch Landrieu, brother of our always-for-sale Senator Mary Landrieu, to replace Ray Nagin as Mayor.

Frankly, I'm kinda happy about it. Mitch Landrieu is currently in Baton Rouge serving as our Lieutenant Governor, where he has proven himself to be worth about as much as a bucket of warm spit, and anyone will do a better job in New Orleans than Ray Nagin.

Mitch Landrieu is now out of the way in Baton Rouge and Nagin is on his way out in New Orleans. That's a two-fer I'll take.
