Costa Rica President Slams Cuba over Political Prisoners
Via Penultimos Dias, Costa Rica President Oscar Arias:
“Los presos políticos no existen en las democracias. En ningún país verdaderamente libre uno va a prisión por pensar distinto. Cuba puede hacer todos los esfuerzos de oratoria que desee para vender la idea de que es una democracia especial, pero cada preso político niega en la práctica esa afirmación”, dijo el presidente.
“Cada preso político es una prueba irrefutable de autoritarismo”, agregó.
Quick translation:
"Political prisoners do not exist in democracies. No one goes to prison for thinking differently in any country that is truly free. Cuba can put forth all its efforts and oratory to try to sell that its democracy is special, but with each political prisoner comes a de facto negation of that affirmation."
"Each political prisoner is irrefutable proof of authoritarianism."

Nice to see ANY foreign leader slam the castroites.
Good for him!
World leaders have come out condeming the Cuban regime or defending it. What's got your tongue Obama? What say you? Oh, I'm sorry, you have to swallow that crow before you can speak.
Obama's too busy making himself a gold statue in the back of the white house with gold from Fort Knox and painting the WH's interior pink and black. Cuba'll just have to wait for him to say "You evil evil brute! We're going to write a letter to the U.N. And they're going to write a nastier letter to you, then we're just going to forget about it all cause you're our homeboy! The cookout start's at 5, bring some beer and cohibas!!!
