“Who needs cell-phones?” says Castro–”We’ll communicate via pigeons!”

pigeon-picture
Steve Martin was a wuss. Here's how it's done!

If I'm lying I'm dying, amigos. A nation that in 1958 had more phones per capita than most European countries and the 5th highest number of TV's per-capita ON EARTH--is resorting to communication by passenger pigeon!

HOLGUIN, Cuba, (ACN) The use of carrier pigeons as an alternative means of communication in places distant from Cuban urban centers will be crucial in the upcoming elections to be held on Sunday.

From our friends, the miracle workers over at Capitol Hill Cubans.

"VAMOS BIEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Might you be implying that Castro, Inc. is a bunch of "Bird Brains?" Another winner from the folks that brought us "El Ritmo de los Buyes." -S-

I can't help thinking of a comparison, with all that Obama is throwing at us, Alinsky style, to destroy this country.
Our leader will provide health insurance and health care. He will fix education. He will bring us together. This sounds so familiar. So if what Americans wanted was a president who is the closest in goals and results to Fidel Castro, then Obama is their man. After all, Spielberg recently called his eight hours with Castro the most important hours of his life. Michael Moore, of course, would welcome this comparison.
So, if Americans want a president who wants to do for America all that Castro has done for Cuba, then they can rejoice. Because that's just who we have in the White House now.
I wonder if I put it exactly this way to my liberal friends, who all went out to see Sicko and loved it, would they honestly say that is what they wanted for this country? Are they that far gone?
