CATASTROPHIC (!!!) Oil Spill DESTROYS fishing off Louisiana!!!
Most MSM stories on the oil spill catastrophe will be from "Venice La." where the media crews are based.
Well, that's exactly where me an my Viejo launched our boat this week-end to load our boat with the above.
And oh!......A little detail the MSM hasn't mentioned. DOUBLE the amount leaked from the Exxon Valdez spills into the Gulf of Mexico EVERY YEAR--and perfectly NATURALLY from the Gulf floor.
But don't take it from this crackpot. Take it from Science Daily.
Unreal
Update: Anyone interested in a moderate, reasoned, sensible and enlightened take on this issue, one that takes into account the interests of the entire nation, rather than those of a tiny (but noisy and politically powerful) group--one that relies on logic rather than the over-emotional, intransigent, recalcitrant, hardline, embittered take by a tiny (but noisy and politically-powerful) group (environmentalists) on this issue, can follow it here......

That's some nice lookin' light sweet crude there, Humberto.
Rush was ridiculed by the msm for stating just what you said here - that the Ocean leaks oil from the Gulf floor. He also said the ocean is so vast that it would probably deal quite well with this.
Those are some gorgeous Reds!!! The only kind of Reds weelcome in our boat!!!
Unfortunately Humberto the MSM has been withholding the truth from the American people for the longest time and that has led to the huge mess we find ourselves these days.
By the way, those reds look quite big. Here in FL the biggest size allowed is 27 inches.
I love catching and eating them as they're a gourmet treat.
Yes, amgigo. We're allowed one per person ever 27 inches, five per person between 16-27 inches.
We limited out easily....
And OH!...those tar balls found on Key West?....HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OIL SPILL!! they're NATURAL!!!
Humberto,
In Everglades National Park there are lots of redfish but you have to hit the right tide to catch them.
The limit in FL is one per person but you have to look for them (they're not that easy to catch)as they're not as abundant as in your neck of the woods.
I heard that a few years back (those days I did not fish at Everglades National Park) there was a moratorium on the species in FL because they were endangered.
Well, if Rush says there is probably nothing to worry about, then someone should message Bobby Jindal to relax and tone down his rhetoric.
Seriously, though, scientists have been saying for at least the last 10 years that a significant amount of oil naturally seeps into the gulf. Even the NYTimes recently made the point that the gulf is incredibly resistant to oil spills:
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/04/science/earth/04enviro.html
The question is whether or not the amount leaking now is beyond the ability of the gulf to safely absorb. Time will tell. In related news today, though, is the report that BP has been significantly low-balling (maybe by a factor of 20) the amount of oil escaping from its well.
