OK, it’s official: Huffington Post employs Castro Agent

"Got it, Fidel..let's see: "I refuse to answer on the ground it may tend to incriminate me" Think I got it No NO! No te preocupes, chico! I won't do anything so stupid as did Silvia "Flippity" Wilhelm!--that DINGBAT! Come ON, Fidel! You know me better than THAT!"

(If she's writing under camoflouge for a U.S. mainstream publication, shouldn't a writer for Castro's propaganda ministry and the daughter of the President of Castro's "Parliament" --of a regime classified by our State Dept. as a State Sponsor of Terrorism-- qualify as an agent of an enemy regime?...It's perfectly legal, for sure. But shouldn't her publishers legally register as agents for Castro's regime? Or at least be a trifle more forthcoming in their writer's bio?)

“Margarita Alarcon is a Havana –based media analyst,” innocuously informs the Huffington Post about one of their feature writers. Margarita Alarcon is also a “Havana-based” columnist for Castro’s government-run press. In fact her columns appear just to the left of Fidel and Raul Castro’s official pronouncements. So in running her articles, the Huffington Post is essentially transcribing (and translating) a Stalinist regime’s propaganda for the benefit of English readers. For proof simply compare Margarita Alarcon’s Cuba-press archive to her Huffington post archive. (different order and titles, same articles.)

The Huffington Post writer’s eminent position within Castro’s propaganda ministry was easily “achieved” by virtue of her being the daughter of one of Fidel Castro’s longest-serving and most faithful ministers. Margarita’s father, Ricardo Alarcon, has functioned as Castro’s Foreign Minister, ambassador to the UN and today functions as the president of Cuba’s “Parliament.” So shameless and relentless has been Ricardo Alarcon’s ass-kissing and bootlicking over the decades that, upon Fidel’s frequently-predicted retirements, Alarcon was usually named (by many eminent Cuba Experts!!!)the likely heir to Cuba’s Stalinist throne.

But you will search the Huffington Post in utter, utter vain for anything hinting at their Cuba-based “analysts” fascinating resume’ or pedigree.

Entire McCarthyite intransigence here.

Another sterling example of leftist, I mean liberal, "balance" and "open-mindedness." Would these people have given the daughter of a top Botha government figure the time of day while there was apartheid in South Africa? You do the math.
