Canadian teen held in Cuba to be released

Cody LeCompte, the Canadian teen being held in Cuba by the dictatorship over an auto accident will be released according to news reports.

I really am happy for him and his family and I can only hope that they learned a lesson from all of this: You can't party with the devil in hell and then get upset when he doesn't let you out.

I'm surprised it ever got so far. Considering the potential damage to the Canadian tourist influx, this should have been resolved much more quickly and quietly. However, any tourist who gets into any kind of trouble in Cuba fully deserves it and basically asked for it. Same goes for tourists who happen to be Cubans.
