Sources inside Cuba are reporting that Reina Luisa Tamayo has suffered injuries from the violent act of repression carried out against her and other Cuban dissidents yesterday. Reina's mouth has been busted, her knees are scraped, and her ribs have been injured from the beating she received yesterday when she attempted to visit the grave of her son Orlando Zapata Tamayo.

Yoani Sanchez is reporting on her Twitter feed that Reina's purse, which contained her cell phone, was taken by State Security and she has no way to communicate with the outside world at this time. Regardless, cell phone service in the city of Banes where Reina lives has been cut in some areas, according to Yoani, and the cell phone lines belonging to some members of the opposition have been blocked.
