Sara Martha Fonseca’s home attacked

Sara Martha Fonseca states this morning that her home was attacked last night by a government led mob and pelted with rocks. According to Fonseca, an independent journalist, the mobs were organized and led by Castro government officials who have made a concerted effort to harass and intimidate her and her family. The Cuban regime officials named by Fonseca who are responsible for the attack are Castro (no known relation) and his immediate superior, an individual named Tamayo.

Fonseca stated that she believed the ongoing attacks against her and other opposition members are in reaction to the mass protest in Cuba scheduled for February 23, 2011, in commemoration of the murder of prisoner of conscience Orlando Zapata Tamayo. The attacks are meant to instill fear and intimidate dissidents on the island, she said, and to discourage them from taking to the streets next week.

The full audio of her statement is below.
