Cuban dictatorship releases Luis Felipe Rojas and Guillermo Fariñas; other dissidents still detained or missing

Yris Tamara Pérez Aguilera

The Cuban dictatorship has released independent journalist and blogger Luis Felipe Rojas, as well as dissident Guillermo Fariñas from custody after both were arrested during another crackdown by the Castro regime's political police. However, some of the other members of the opposition arrested during this wave of repression are still being held by the dictatorship. Among them, the case of Yris Perez is the most alarming since she was knocked unconscious after a brutal beating by one of the Castro's henchmen, and her whereabouts and condition are still unknown.

Pedazos de la Isla has the report.
