Second Major Bill repeals Obama concessions to Castro dictatorship

Language inserted by Rep. David Rivera into a second major bill repeals the unilateral concessions handed to the Castro regime by the Obama administration. With overwhelming bipartisan support, the language rescinding the relaxation of sanctions that would provide the criminal Cuban government with millions in additional revenue passed the Congressional Foreign Affairs Committee by a vote of 36 to 6.

This is the second important bill to pass committee that contains language that will revoke the Obama administration's gift to the Castro dictatorship of additional revenue without a single concession on the part of the Cuban regime.

Capitol Hill Cubans has more:

Obama Travel Regs Repealed in 2nd Major Bill

The House Foreign Affairs Committee has just overwhelmingly voted 36-6 -- in a bipartisan manner -- to repeal the Obama Cuba travel regulations in the FY 2012 Foreign Relations Authorization Act.

Last month, similar language was added to the must-pass FY 2012 Financial Services Appropriations bill.

Thus, in an almost unprecedented move, there are now two major multi-faceted pieces of legislation that contain language to repeal the Obama Cuba travel regulations.
