Cuban independent journalist investigating the possible murder of Laura Pollan arrested once again
A month ago, we reported the arrest of Carlos Rios Otero, an independent journalist in Cuba investigating the possibilities that the Castro dictatorship deliberately injected bacteria into Laura Pollan and other Ladies in White to cause illness and in the case of Pollan, death. The arrest came one day after an article by Rios Otero was published, which detailed the illness of Pollan and other Ladies in White.
Uncommon Sense is now reporting that Carlos Rios Otero was arrested once again this past Saturday and detained until Sunday evening. The arrest and detention appears prompted by Rios Otero's continuing investigation into the Castro dictatorship's role in the death of Lady in White leader Laura Pollan. This investigation is also examining cases involving several other Ladies in White and in Support who have reported severe illnesses after being mysteriously injected with an unknown substance during the violent "acts of repudiation" carried out by regime led thugs on a regular basis.
