Cuba: One human rights activist released, another one arrested
The Castro dictatorship's revolving prison door continues to spin as the regime releases one Cuban human rights activists and arrests another one. According to Twitter reports, human rights activist and independent journalist Jose Daniel Ferrer Garcia, who was violently arrested earlier this week in Havana, has been finally released by the Castro regime. The release comes after the opposition member and former prisoner of conscience began a hunger strike and Amnesty International made an international call for his liberation.
But while Ferrer Garcia was being released, we learn that the Castro dictatorship violently apprehended and imprisoned Jorge Luis Garcia Perez "Antunez," another leader in Cuba's opposition and one of the regime's most active and vocal critics.
