Tweeting for Justice: Help a friend of the cause spread the word

Last week, we featured a post by our good friend Fausta Wertz reporting on a monument and park honoring the mass murderer Ché Guevara being planned by the City Council of the Irish city of Galway. It is unthinkable that the government of an Irish town would even consider commemorating a racist killer such as Ché, and some prominent Irish are not taking the news sitting down.

When I passed this news on to my friend, Irish businessman, activist, and politician Declan Ganley, he was incredulous. But when he confirmed the news reports, he became incensed. Declan immediately took to Twitter and his thousands of followers and began to denounce this affront to the freedom-loving citizens of Ireland, and this insult to Ché Guevara's thousands of innocent victims.

Naturally, the very vocal leftist contingent in Ireland immediately returned Twitter fire, using at best, revisionist history, and at worst, complete and utter ignorance. From what I have seen, the responses to Declan's denouncements have all been weak, but they have been plentiful.

Here is where we come in...

If you have a Twitter account, you need to jump into the fray and help Declan Ganley spread the truth about Ché in Ireland. His Twitter handle is @declanganley, and every Tweet you post including Declan's handle  and exposing the Ché for the murderer and psychopath that he was will be seen by his followers, who include the who's who of Ireland's political, media, and business world.

We have a good friend of the cause fighting for justice and the memory of the thousands of Cubans murdered by Castro and Ché, let us show him the support he needs and deserves.

Start Tweeting! @declanganley
