Rush Limbaugh apologizes to Sandra Fluke
I apologize if you're offended by this apology.
Here's the text of Rush's apology:
For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.
I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone's bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.
P.S., note to Sandra Fluke: Please keep your hands out of my wallet. I don't want to pay for your new entitlement with my tax dollars, either. Please find another source of income for your activities.
P.P.S., I think Rush should have apologized to Fluke right after Bill Maher apologized to Sarah Palin for calling her a c--t. Just sayin'...

I am offended by this apology and I sent notes to Rush and to the president of Sleep Number beds and I urge you to send your own versions of this to both - we are all Breitbart, now:
I want all of you to please send Rush and Carlsen letters. Rush@eibnet.com and dalecarlsen@sleeptrain.com.
Subject: I am incensed - at YOU!
To: dalecarlsen@sleeptrain.com
Date: Sunday, March 4, 2012, 8:13 AM
Mr. Carlsen:
Please tell me how many times Sleep Number Beds canceled advertisements on shows when a liberal commentator called Sarah Palin a cunt or other beautiful things or called her children filthy things as well. I wonder how many times you canceled ads on shows when the Tea Party was said to be full of racists and bigots. How many times was Cheney called Satan or Bush called ugly things? My list here could go on for paragraphs, but you get the idea.
This selective indignation is disgusting.
A woman goes to Georgetown University, a Catholic institution, by choice. She disgraces herself and mocks the religion and university she goes to by publicizing her sex needs. She demands that the government provide her with her birth control, which, by her own description, costs her a lot of money. Well, that means she is having a great deal of sex. TMI for one thing and not my business. What do we generally call someone who asks for others to pay for her sex? And she is the one who told the world about this.
Please tell me where else your ire has shown up. I do believe this is the first time I have heard of your sensitivity.
I hope Sleep Number Beds loses sales because of your selective indignation. Rush has apologized for the word. I have never heard Maher, Matthews, Maddow, and the list is endless, ever apologize for the filth they spew incessantly.
This gal is no victim. She is a studied political activist for left wing organizations and you played right into her hands. You are the ones who owe me an explanation.
Honey, can you please post the link where you got this. It's excellent!

Protests to HBO should be in order...
As to Mz. Fluke, she is not at all what she seems in the general MSM presentation ... you know, the persona Pelosi, the White House, and the left MSM want the public to believe:

And Prof. Jacobson chimes in: Something missing from Georgetown Law’s condemnation

This was ALL a set up from the start ... Back a couple months to the ABC GOP debate where the candidates were pressed on contraceptives.
1.) it set up fertile ground for a straw man debate on birth control, that is NOT threatened. As Rush and others have pointed out NOBODY in their right mind would ever consider outlawing them. But you have a Muslim appeasing self-centered Marxist worshiping atheist in the WH, and at least 3 of the GOPers have a very strong connection to their own Christian faiths/religions. The left/Obama/dems have to set them up as unreasonable radicals, and wait for it, as dangerous as the Islamist radicals.
2. the HHS mandate for contraceptive coverage is so weak that this controversy HAD to be crafted in the media to make it look urgent ... a "crisis", if you will. For all the championing of Planned Parenthood by these very same entities, it proves PP is NOT the all encompassing "woman's health" organization they insist it is. Women can get various methods of birth control/contraception before and 'after' the fact from PP for graduated pricing (and even free). You cannot tell me these same Georgetown coeds don't have a way to the local PP for such help. Nope, PP, as reports have shown, makes massive amounts of money primarily on abortion. It IS their core/key purpose for their existence. And right now you have not only the GOP in the US Congress trying to defund PP, but on a state level there are several states that are doing just that. The administration is biting back:
http://tiny.cc/057as
So exactly WHY is the "contraception" mandate so important to the HHS, administration, ObamaCare?
Sebelius: Decrease in Human Beings Will Cover Cost of Contraception Mandate
http://tiny.cc/cvsqe
Believe me (and this admin. has been 'transparent' because I have seen through them from the 2008 campaign) this will force all levels of abortion coverage on insurance coverage for ALL providing to their employees (including "late term/partial birth"). It doesn't say so now, but throughout the ObamaCare law the HHS Secretary has full power, charge, discretion to spend where/what she wants, and to mandate what she wants at the drop of a hat.

If this survives, we WILL be using China's "One Child Rule" in the not too distant future. After the massive earthquake in China a couple years ago some families lost their only child. They had to appeal to the government for PERMISSION to have another child. Not all were given. You saw my post last week about the new prenatal testing for Down Syndrome, and the article showed how soon people will have the ability to choose to abort for gender reasons. THAT has been happening in China for decades, even after a baby was born a girl.
Anyhow, I've gotten far down the track here, but this current "crisis" that was crafted by the WH is the basis for what is to come.
BTW, the HHS Sec.'s statement about the cost effectiveness to healthcare through fewer babies WILL roll over to the gov.-run healthcare refusing care for those they deem too sick, not worth the money, and the aged. Yeah, Sarah Palin was right.
Susan Fluke is being made into this generation of leftist butchers' Margaret Sanger.
FINALLY, all this bullshit over the straw man is keeping attention off the things that are actually very dangerous for Americans right now ... the price of gas and goods, the economy, the nation's real enemies festering in the Middle East and the Muslim world, the continually failing public school machine in the country, and the out of control gov. spending with plans for massive taxing all while taking more and more of our individual rights away.
But don't let's worry about that. No, some poor female bullshit activist got her feelings hurt by a man who, himself stressed, has absolutely NO power to do ANYTHING to her or to taxation, healthcare, etc.
As with the contraceptive mandate, the attack on Limbaugh is another shot at the First Amendment...
"We are well and truly fucked" if this country doesn't wake the hell up soon.
Oh, and hey ... I found this juicy bit on my Face Book feed this a.m.:

This is my take on this issue,
Once and for all conservatives and the GOP need to grow some freaking balls and stand up to the liberal agenda and call it like it is; even if it ruffles some feathers and hurts some people's sensibilities (anyway the Sandra Flukes of this world are not innocent characters to begin with)
We must stop apologizing about it, even Rush with all his bombastic persona dropped the ball on this one.
George, "Judge Roy Bean" ... perfect.
and I think leaving "Breitbart is Here" on the sidebar is exactly what Andrew would have expected.

George, other than what it says here, I don't know the origin. But I will try to find out.
I did get a reply which completely ignored my letter to them. I will post it here next.
On top is my response to theirs to me which is underneath:

And have you shown such concern for the hundreds of offensive comments against women from the other side?
That was my point.
She is a political operative and you fell right into her trap. She is offensive to me.

Dear Janet,
Thank you for contacting ProFlowers. We appreciate your email and thank you for openly expressing your concerns regarding the current situation.
At ProFlowers, our mission is to delight our customers with fresh and long lasting flowers, and that is our singular focus each and every day. We do not base our advertising decisions to align with any particular political view or opinion as our employees and customers are as diverse as the USA. Mr. Limbaugh?s recent comments went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company. As such, ProFlowers has suspended advertising on The Rush Limbaugh radio program.
The point is George and everyone here, if we don't start becoming proactive like Breitbart, we are all going to lose everything. We have to organize a boycott of all of those who have stopped their advertising on Rush and write them angry letters. It can't just be me. They must be inundated. I am so angry that the smarmy left is getting away with their dishonesty and thuggery.
