Chavez Gets New Boats From Cuba

You all might know I have an oil industry pal in New Orleans that sets things straight, debunks the MSM's and administration's presentation of energy stories (They pretty much hyped or twisted, and even got completely wrong, much of the Gulf oil spill ... even Humberto proved the fishing was okay). He has also kept me updated on the bankruptcies of Obama's pet "green energy" companies before the MSM didn't even bother covering it.

My friend sends along this info on Hugo Chavez the oily beauhunk and his new boats...

Some are making a fuss about these being for military. Sure they have that ability as “landing craft.” However, I will point out the necessity of such vessels for moving heavy road type construction equipment and land drilling rigs to inaccessible (by road) locations. Here is an example but with a stern ramp.

(Caracas, 16 de marzo – Noticias24).- The Bolivarian Navy received the first of four multipurpose vessels built at shipyards in Cuba. The ship "Los Frailes Tango 91" features the latest technology, and its objective the conduct of military maneuvers and social.

(Google translation)

My friend concludes:

Meanwhile, Venezuela’s state owned oil company, PDVSA, continues to lose money and production annually, ever since the “white collar” worker general strike (against Chavez’s policies) in 2002. Their production is DOWN 35%. If anyone can lose money at $100/bbl of produced oil it would Chavez and his policies.

I emphasized those last two lines because, well, as we all have figured out Obama is using Chavez and Venezuela (when he's not using the failed socialist systems of Europe) as a template for the United States.

In Cuba it is illegal to won a boat. It is an island!
Who is doing the building of these boats? The slaves of the tyranny? How can they accomplish it?
