Castro regime seeks ‘provisional imprisonment’ for Cuban independent journalist

Prosecutors for the Castro dictatorship have issued an order of "provisional imprisonment" for Cuban independent journalist and opposition leader Jose Daniel Ferrer Garcia, who has been jailed since his arrest on March 2nd, 2012.

Punt de Vista has the report (my translation):

Provisional imprisonment for opposition leader Jose Daniel Ferrer

Journalist Jose Luis Ramos reports through Twitter that the prosecution has issued an order of provisional imprisonment for opposition leader Jose Daniel Ferrer, who was arrested on March 2nd. Ferrer is the coordinator for the Cuban Patriotic Union (UPC) and will be charged with "public disorder." Nine days ago, Amnesty International declared him a prisoner of conscience of the Castro regime.
