The Congress's and the administration's failure to pass a budget in the last three years (especially when they had full control of the White House and both Houses of the US Congress) is a big cause of our current economic problems. They refuse to halt their spending frenzy, or cut anything except the military defense of this nation.

Yesterday the U.S. Senate, under its democrat majority and its democrat leader Sen. Harry Reid, in a strong bipartisan move voted against Obama's "budget plan" 99-0. This abject failure of Obama's plan to pass in the Senate comes just a couple months after the U.S House of Representatives completely voted against it 414-0 in March ... again, bipartisan.

When asked about this White House press secretary Jay Carney contorts himself to claim it was just a republican "gimmick" ... I s**t you not.

They voted on his guy's budget, and rejected it unanimously. Exactly how is that not bipartisan, and how is it a gimmick to actually hold the vote on the budget Obama offered, and they insist be passed? Exactly what gimmickry or witchcraft would induce Obama's fellow democrats into voting unanimously against it? Had the thing passed by the same numbers Carney would be claiming it was a wonderful example of bipartisanship...

Sip on some ginger ale. You'll feel better.
