The phones don’t work (In Cuba) ’cause the vandals took the handles

aaa8

Look out kid
They keep it all hid
Better jump down a manhole
Light yourself a candle
Don’t wear sandals
Try to avoid the scandals
Don’t wanna be a bum
You better chew gum
The pump don’t work
’Cause the vandals took the handles

Says Bob Dylan in Subterranean Homesick Blues.

Cafe Fuerte now reports a wave of vandalism against the Stalinist-regime's phones that has unleashed "a crusade against vandalism!" by the Stalinist apparatchiks.

Not to be confused with the "crusade OF vandalism" summer of 1960 when Cubans and Americans LOST all their businesses to gun-toting Stalinist apparatchiks then known as "interveners." (Another "crusade" by the Castroites in 1968 heisted even their subjects' fruit stands and shoe-shine booths.)

Vamos Bien!!!
