NBC’s/MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, who seems to think doctoring videos of GOP POTUS candidate Mitt Romney’s stump speeches to make him look inane and “out of touch” is high-end journalism, calls investigating the Obama administration’s involvement in providing thousands of illegal weapons to illegal aliens and Mexican drug cartels that resulted in the deaths of at least one U.S. Border Patrol Agent, and I.C.E. Agent, and over 300 Mexicans a “distraction”.
Have you noticed anything that sticks out like a sore thumb needing serious and immediate attention with this administration is deemed a “distraction” by the MSM? Mitchell invokes the economy (which I thought the MSM insisted was doing great) is deserving of the attention being given to “Fast and Furious”. She, along with other MSM wonks, claim Chairman Issa and the GOP are simply playing politics, even declaring, “Hey, people die” all the time, you know.
Yet, just eight years ago Andrea Mitchell did not seem to believe the democrats in charge of Congress investigating the alleged outing of a desk jockey at the CIA (whose own husband thought it was wonderful D.C. cocktail and dinner party conversation fodder even before Robert Novak and Karl Rove ever heard of “Valerie Plame”) was a distraction driven purely for political reasons…
And don’t get me started on the Congress’s pursuit of Roger Clemens or the MSM’s inane and pointless pursuit of Gov. Sarah Palin.
After this Thursday’s “contempt” vote in Congress on Eric Holder I will bet you start hearing media mouths, and shameless democrats, insisting Brian Terry’s family (if they can possibly recall his/their name) just get over it and move on.
