The ironic and utterly sick thing is that only up to a short time ago, the mainstream media would not mention the "Miami Mafia" without qualifying it with the adjective "aging". This reached an apogee with the Oliphant cartoon.

I've noticed lately that they've toned down the pejorative remarks. I guess that the slander--when you contrast our Cuban American elected leaders who are all young enough to be the children and grandchildren off those old geezers---is just too great for even the normally shameless MSM to continue perpetuating.
