Tragedy in Cuba
Came in over the transom...
Please add to your prayers Oswaldo Paya and all the faithful in Cuba
Dear Friends:
When all of us meet exceptional human beings, we thank God for his or her presence among us.
When I met Oswaldo Paya in Havanna, I felt so blessed to know him and witness his movement, which placed demands for democracy in the context of the Gospel and our natural rights, God given.
His death two weeks ago, in a dubious car crash, is heartbreaking as I wrote today in the National Catholic Register http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/heartbreak-in-havana/
And I humbly ask you to pray for the repose of the souls of Oswaldo Paya and Harold Cepero, and for their families.
Pax et Bonum,
Victor
