Pro-Obama media bias confirmed by Time magazine’s senior political editor

halperin

Halperin: Media pretty much does what Obama wants

Quite an admission was made on the Today Show this morning.   And it was made by none other than Mark Halperin of  Time Magazine, a publication that still pretends to be genuinely neutral insofar as American politics is concerned.

This may be the clearest indication that a boundary has been crossed in American journalism.   The mask of neutrality is finally coming off, and no one seems to care.  Go here for more, including a video clip.

Here is what Halperin had to say about all of the coverage that Romney's tax returns have received:

“I think the press still likes this story a lot, the media is very susceptible to doing what the Obama campaign wants, which is to focus on this,”

Back in late June 2011, Halperin was suspended from his post as senior political analyst at MSNBC for calling President Obama a  "membre viril"  on a live TV news segment (well... ahem... he actually used a good old-fashioned Anglo-Saxon word instead of the more polite French term).   Seems that Halperin is eager for another suspension, this time from Time magazine rather than MSNBC.   You can renew your acquaintance with that story here.
